Kohl's Rewards Visa Program

Kohl’s had a challenge. Their old card was notorious for providing a confusing customer experience. They decided to partner with Capital One, and it became our challenge to design and launch of the new Kohl’s Rewards Visa Card, converting Kohl’s cardholders from their old bank to the new Capital One Visa product., the largest conversion Capital One has tackled to date.

Our goal of communication was to take the consumer through the conversion process, informing them what changes are on the way, what to expect, details about the program, then how to activate their card and enroll in Capital One’s online experience, all with a fresh new look, focusing on Kohl’s’ signature block letters and sense of style.

Below is an example of communications in the customer journey, including the Reissue Card Carrier Welcome Kit, Prepare Me Microsite, to Email comms about change in servicing, Prepare Me Direct Mail, to Enroll Me Microsite, Welcome Me Direct Mail, and activation emails.
